"The Choice website, ChoiceHotels.com, enjoys more than 175 million website visits annually, and now those guests will have the opportunity to book your condos," Leonard told the more than 50 owners present. Leonard added that all owners on the Royal American program will benefit from Choice Hotels' large-scale advertising efforts as well as their award winning rewards program, Choice Privileges ® . For partnering with Royal American, owners will receive discounted stays at Choice properties in the USA as well as elite status in Choice Privi- leges® providing the opportunity to earn rewards including free nights and digital gift cards good at more than 80 different restaurants and retailers, Leonard shared. In March 2014, Royal American forged a strategic alliance with global distribution giant HomeAway.com, investing a quarter of a million dollars to flood the travel website with its proper- ty listings. "Partnering with Vacation Rentals by Choice Hotels was the logical next step," com- mented Vice President of Operations Mike Greer. "Our goal is to double our inventory," Greer added. "To do that, we're guaranteeing owners' annual and monthly income in writing. Meeting those guarantees and keeping owners satisfied means garnering the most exposure possible for their units. Leveraging the power of a national brand enables us to deliver maximum exposure and, ultimately, maximum owner income." Royal American Beach Getaways represents approximately 200 owners in more than fifteen different Panama City Beach, Fla. properties. The company is based in Panama City Beach, and senior management lives in and serves the community and destination.
